Series B Technical Due Diligence
Developed the technical portfolio for a third-party assessment conducted during Athennian's Series B financing. The review was a deep technical dive: the assessors conducted a full code review and interrogated architecture decisions, design patterns, technical debt strategy, and engineering practices under live scrutiny from principal engineers representing the investor. Defending those decisions required both technical command and the ability to articulate the reasoning behind every structural choice made at scale. The outcome was an outstanding technical report rating Athennian years ahead of benchmark for a company at its stage, contributing directly to a successful $42M CAD raise.

Computational Systems Engineering Department
Built Eavor's software and computational engineering department from the ground up at a critical point in the company's growth. Established the hiring framework, recruited the founding team, and introduced the development standards, architecture review processes, and operational controls needed to support a technically complex, cross-disciplinary organization. Created structured collaboration between software, drilling, and geoscience functions that had previously operated in silos, enabling the engineering organization to scale without losing rigor.

Cloud-Native Geothermal Engineering Platform
Designed and delivered the enterprise platform used to support real-time and detailed engineering workflows for techno-economic analysis, drilling, control systems, geoscience and subsurface disciplines across the organization. Encapsulated IP in a distributable medium to realize Eavor's license-based, scalable business model.

High Performance Multi-Physics Simulation Engine
Established the computational engineering function supporting Eavor’s closed-loop geothermal system. Built a distributed, high performance, auto-scaling multi-physics simulation platform in AWS. Leveraged modeling capability to guide drilling and system design & optimzation. Developed real-time physics-based drilling digital twin.

MentorGraphics (Seimens) PERC Product
Co-founded a team to stand up a new product for programmable electrical rule checking, initially with no management sponsorship. Successfully took the tech to a greenspace market in 18 months, creating a new revenue center and completing the suite of IC simulation tools.

Discontinuation Driven Onboarding
Following a deal struck with Morgan Stanley to assume clients following a platform discontiniuation, built out technology and systems for rapid transition. Facing a hard stop on the window of opportunity, refined the process and change management with our delivery team until it was down to a science. At scale, up to 10 transitions a week were managed by a minimally trained ad-hoc team.

Founded Growth Department
Advocated for and built a dedicated Growth function as a structural investment in organizational longevity. Operating with a protected budget and a defined mandate, the team explored disruptive and non-disruptive innovation at low TRL, insulating core delivery from exploratory risk while ensuring the organization did not stagnate.

Co-founded RIPEDA Consulting
Co-founded a Technology Advisory and Managed Services business in 2011. Built and scaled a subscription-based delivery model with purpose-built tooling for billing, support, time tracking, and reporting. Sustained and grew the business through operational discipline and client retention over 15+ years.
